our article ‘Luanda’s Pleasure Resorts’, in collaboration with Pétur Waldorff, was published in Migrant Journal issue 2, ‘Wired Capital’. the article comes out from Isle of Pleasures, an installation for the exhibition after belonging: on residence, oslo architecture triennale 2016, curated by After Belonging Agency. both the exhibition and the magazine reflect on the topic of migration and how the global flow of people and goods affects our societies and territories. our project focuses on the particular case of the portuguese living in angola, looking at luanda’s ‘pleasure resorts’ for economic migrants.
